Dr. Calvin Spellmon, Jr. is board certified in pediatrics and primary care sports medicine. He completed medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and both a pediatric and chief residency at University of New Mexico Children's Hospital in Albuquerque. Dr. Spellmon returned to Tennessee for a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Campbell Clinic Orthopedics in Memphis.
Dr. Spellmon specializes in fracture care, concussion management, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, ultrasound-guided injections, regenerative medicine services and other orthobiologic treatments. He is experienced on and off the field, treating the Memphis Grizzlies' and Memphis Redbirds' professional athletes during his fellowship and elite college, high school and marathon athletes.
